hereby GRANT(S) to the COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a body
corporate and politic of the State of California, an EASEMENT for HIGHWAY and ROAD PURPOSES over, under and across the
following described property in said County:
That portion of the RANCHO EL RINCON, as per map recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 9,
records of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, said portion being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed to HENRY
VAN der LAAN, et ux, by Deed recorded February 27, 1969 in Book 7188 of Official Records,
Pages 845 and 846 in the office of the recorder of said County; thence South 00° 51' 00"
West, along the West line thereof, a distance of 1175.10 feet to the Southwest cornei
of said Van der Laan parcel (said West line being also the center line of Johnson Road
and its Southerly prolongation thereof as shown on Parcel 2, Map No. 2243, as per map
recorded in Book'21 of PARCEL MAPS, Page 28, records of said County); thence North 67°
51' 30" East, along the Southerly line of said parcel, a distance of 32.59 feet to a point
on a line parallel with and 30.00 feet East, measured at right angles, from the above -
mentioned West line of the Van der Laan parcel; thence North 00° 51' 00" East, along
said parallel line to a point on the Northerly line of said Van der Laan parcel, said
point being on the center line of Pine Avenue; thence South 72° 56' 22" West, along
said center line of Pine Avenue, a distance of 31.52 feet, more or less, to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
SAVING and EXCEPTING therefrom any portion of Pine Avenue previously dedicated for
road purposes.
